DragThing is the original dock designed to tidy up your Macintosh desktop. The main purpose of DragThing is to make items on your Mac such as files, folders, applications, disks, URLs, clippings, and even windows, quickly and easily accessible, while taking up as little space on your screen as possible. The main elements with which DragThing enables this speedy access are its docks. DragThing's docks, unlike the Mac OS X system dock, are highly configurable and you can have multiple docks, customised to suit your specific circumstances. DragThing also allows you to define a huge variety of hot keys. These hot keys can open items in docks, control various other aspects of DragThing and even control the visibility of and switching between other applications running on your Mac. DragThing can also provide you with a Trash on your desktop, play sounds in response to actions like ejecting a CD, and a lot more besides. personally use dragthing and was a bit upset to find out it! was not on our site when it is such a great application. EPG Search By Genre EyeTV 3.1 features a custom search criteria for program genres, to make it easier to find similar shows. This feature is currently supported with the tvtv and TV Guide EPGs. Parental Controls To help parents protect their ren from objectionable content, EyeTV 3.1 adds support for Parental Controls. What are Parental Controls? Television programs often are transmitted with age and content based ratings attached, or have an associated rating from the Electronic Programming Guide. Parental Controls allow parents to block specific content, individually for each Mac OS X user account on their computer, by setting a maximum allowed rating, and by blocking certain channels. Parental Controls can be overridden by entering a PIN. If you're using Parental Controls for the first time, the default PIN is 0000 (all zeros). You should change that by selecting a new PIN. Press the Change PIN... button, and enter a new 4 digit combination. Note that the Parental Control! s feature does not work with pre-existing recordings.
