Xslimmer 1.7.4 KCNcrew 15/09/09

Part: 1 : Xslimmer 1.7.4
DESCRIPTION
Xslimmer removes wasted space on your Mac's hard drive by removing the binary from either its PowerPC or Intel code (depending on the system architecture used). The result users report is that you can save 47% of your disk space.
For example, when running Xslimmer on Google Earth 4, it shrinks the size from 101MB to 52.8MB, which is a 47% reduction.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.7.4 preserves 32-bit code for some applications known to rely on third party plugins or extensions that might not yet be available as 64-bit binaries.
It will also honor the Finder flags "Open in 32-bit mode" and "Open using Rosetta", keeping the necessary 32-bit code when they have been checked by the user.

In addition, Xslimmer 1.7.4 deals better with remote or non-HFS volumes used for backup purposes.
